My journey into medicine started at age four, helping my dad deliver puppies. After rushing through undergrad while moonlighting as an ER tech, life took me on quite an adventure. I've cried over sick kids in Bolivia, had my appendix out in New Zealand, and scrubbed floors in a Mexican orphanage.

In 2020, I was at the frontlines of a COVID field hospital in California, learning the power of personal connections in medicine. To up my game, I decided to get an MBA at Grand Canyon University.

All these experiences taught me the value of teamwork and adaptability. Armed with an MD and MBA, I'm ready to tackle the ever-changing world of healthcare. That childhood spark still drives me today.

My journey has been far from a walk in the park. Over the past 15 years, I've been hustling as an independent contractor, dedicating countless hours and racking up miles on the road to accumulate experience. Finding balance has been a real learning curve, teaching me the art of equilibrium and self-compassion. On top of all this, I'm a proud single parent to an amazing 5-year-old boy.

Throughout this rollercoaster, I've been lucky to have an incredible family, solid friends, and some exceptional mentors by my side. My journey has been a mix of trials, humbling moments, and moments of fulfillment and satisfaction that keep me going.

At Liquivida Wellness Center, we offer an extensive array of services under the name Aafiyya, which draws inspiration from the Swahili word for "health" and its deep-rooted Arabic origins, symbolizing attributes like "robust, disease-free, and strong," as well as "healing" and "forgiveness." Our services include IV vitamins, weight loss programs, peptides, sexual wellness, functional medicine, anti-aging treatments, aesthetics, neurotoxin applications, and advanced skincare, all delivered with a commitment to product quality and physician expertise.

Dr. Cecilia Morgado-Slychan | NMD

Medical Director & Aesthetics Specialist

I am an Arizona-licensed Naturopathic Medical Doctor and the Medical Director of Liquivida Wellness Center in Phoenix. I specialize in aesthetic medicine, Bio-identical Hormone replacement therapy, and anti-aging medicine. I graduated from Sonoran University of Health Sciences (formerly The Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine), where I earned my medical degree.

With extensive medical aesthetic experience, I love to work with patients to reverse the signs of aging by marrying aesthetic medicine with regenerative medicine to assist with graceful aging from the inside out. I have a special place in my heart for working with chronic skin conditions of acne, rosacea, and eczema. My favorite modalities include Botox, dermal and bio-stimulating fillers for skin and tissue regeneration, IV-nutrient therapy, and bio-identical hormone replacement therapy.

I am happily married and enjoy spending time with my family. I have a spoiled-rotten Yorkie Chihuahua named Foxy, who earned her Angel wings. Foxy continues to serve as a reminder to all that love and beauty exist in all forms. Still with me is a very opinionated, vocal cuddle cat named Zen (who won’t stop yowling until you pick him up). In my spare time, I love to enjoy nature with my family and geek out over the latest aesthetic techniques!

Welcome to the realm of holistic health. I’m a proud graduate of Sonoran University in Phoenix, Arizona.

After graduating, I completed a comprehensive two-year family and preventative medicine residency at Centro de Salud in central Phoenix. My expertise spans the treatment of various medical conditions across all body systems, with a current focus on hormone replacement therapy, weight loss strategies, and sexual wellness.

I hold certifications in IV nutrition therapy and specialized training in O and P shot therapy. My philosophy revolves around patient empowerment through education by offering knowledge to my patients to help them achieve their goals. I aspire to be more than a healthcare provider, aim to be a dedicated partner in health, and am committed to guiding my patients toward optimal well-being.

Beyond treating ailments, I emphasize a casual and approachable style to foster an environment where patients feel heard and supported. As a Naturopathic Doctor, I bring a unique blend of expertise, compassion, and a genuine desire to help you achieve a healthier, happier life.

Helping patients make informed choices about their health and empowering people to lead a healthy lifestyle is something I’m passionate about.

As the wellness coordinator, I strive to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of those under my care.
